Happy Chinese New Year!

As a lover of good fortune and feng shui, I wish you a Happy Chinese New Year! It is a must that I share some of the fascinating taboos and superstitions of Chinese New Year. I also confess that I practice many of these traditions in my everyday life too. If you come into my office you’d see Vibrant red, Asian elements throughout. You’ll also find everything arranged according to the precepts of Feng Shui. I love the energy it gives me. Call it superstition or coincidence but it works for me!

Handle With Care

I am going to this amazing charity that I wanted to share with my readers. Its called Handle With Care.
On March 1, 2009, Cedars-Sinai will sponsor the 2nd annual ‘Handle With Care’ event — this time benefiting a group closer to home. The Los Angeles Christian Health Centers (LACHC), formerly known as the Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic, is located in downtown Los Angeles on Skid Row. LACHC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with a designation as a Health Care for the Homeless Program.
